French Resources

Language Learning Sites

Yabla – As of September 2016, this is the only site I’m using to study French. One learns by watching videos and playing various words games based on those videos. It really forces you to listen closely at times. Besides French, one can study Chinese, Italian, Spanish, German and English.

LingQ – This is great site, especially for reading books and texts that are above your current level. It can be buggy, temperamental, and hard to learn the interface, but it is still one of the most powerful language learning tools out there.

Duolingo – This is a free site and I think it’s fantastic for reviewing what you already know, especially in terms of grammar and spelling.

Google Translate – You can’t really trust the translations, but it’s still useful.
